VAT Relief
Some of our products qualify for VAT exemption, so you can save more without having to request a refund. To find out if you qualify, please read below.
What is VAT relief?
If you have a long-term illness or disability, you may qualify for VAT exemption specifically on products that you need due to your condition.
Which of your products qualify for VAT relief?
All products that qualify for VAT relief are clearly marked as “VAT Exempt” and will display a self-certification tick box on our website saying: “I am eligible for VAT relief”.
At present, the only qualifying products in our catalogue are rise recliners.
Who is eligible for VAT relief?
VAT relief is intended for those chronically sick or disabled or for charities who are buying on behalf of the sick or disabled, providing the items are for individual domestic use.
You can find out more about who qualifies for VAT relief on the gov.uk website.
How do I make a VAT-free purchase?
Before adding your item to basket, make sure the declaration tick box has been ticked (the one that reads, “I am eligible for VAT relief”, which is found above the warranty button).
Once you have decided to complete your order, tick the applicable box under the header “Are You VAT Exempt” and select your illness or disability from the dropdown box.
Then go ahead and complete your order.
